Join our new 3-week program, offering a critical supplement to your Dutch language & culture courses 😸. The coming three Tuesday evenings we will gather from 17.00-19.30 in the lovely space at Goethe Institute in Amsterdam.We will hear different perspectives from working in the cultural field, have a sneak peek behind the scenes of cultural institutions and gain some critical tools to learn how to make a place for yourself in the Netherlands. We will practice Dutch vocabulary and make an alternative lexicon for the cultural field together.

Only €15 for three sessions, including soup and free tickets to Amsterdam Museum and EYE!

#2 - Waar ben jij? / Where are you?
Tuesday 26 October 5:00pm-7:30pm with Amsterdam Museum
Waar we zijn? In Amsterdam, momenteel. Maar hoe is die stad tot stand gekomen? Hoe is het verbonden met zoveell andere plekken in de wereld, door migratie, herinnering en (koloniale) geschiedenis? Welke plekken zijn nu betekenisvol voor jou? Deel je tips en verdiep je in de plek waar we nu zijn. We werken samen aan een kaart van betekenisvolle plekken, herinneringen en vertrouwde routes.

Where are we? In Amsterdam, as we speak. But how was this place formed? How is it connected with so many other parts of the world, through migration, memory and (colonial) history? Which spots are meaningful to you know? Share your tips and find out more about where we are located. Together we will work on mapping significant places, memories and familiar routes in the city.

😸. في مساء يوم الثلاثاء من الاسابيع الثلاثة القادمة سنجتمع من الساعة 17.00 إلى الساعة 19.30 في مساحة جميلة من معهد جوته في أمستردام. سنستمع إلى وجهات نظر مختلفة من العمل في المجال الثقافي، وسنلقي نظرة خاطفة على كواليس المؤسسات الثقافية ونكسب بعض الأدوات المهمة لتتعلم كيف تصنع لنفسك مكانًا في هولندا. سنتدرب على المفردات الهولندية ونصنع معجمًا بديلاً للحقل الثقافي.

اين نحن؟ في أمستردام. لكن كيف تم بناء هذا المكان؟ كيف يرتبط بالعديد من الأجزاء الأخرى من العالم، من خلال الهجرة والذاكرة والتاريخ؟ ما هي النقاط ذات المغزى بالنسبة لك؟ شارك بنصائحك واكتشف المزيد حول مكان تواجدنا. سنعمل معًا على رسم خرائط للأماكن المهمة والذكريات والطرق المألوفة في المدينة.
