Join our new 3-week program, offering a critical supplement to your Dutch language & culture courses 😸. The coming three Tuesday evenings we will gather from 17.00-19.30 in the lovely space at Goethe Institute in Amsterdam.We will hear different perspectives from working in the cultural field, have a sneak peek behind the scenes of cultural institutions and gain some critical tools to learn how to make a place for yourself in the Netherlands. We will practice Dutch vocabulary and make an alternative lexicon for the cultural field together.

Only €15 for three sessions, including soup and free tickets to Amsterdam Museum and EYE!

#3 - Heb je het tegen mij? / Are you talking to me?

Vandaag gaat over doelgroepen en kritische diversiteit. Voor wie maak jij je werk? Hoe navigeer je in het culturele veld als migrant? Neem je plaats op een bestaand podium? Of bouw je je eigen platform? EYE filmmuseum neemt ons mee achter de schermen van hoe ze als instituut opereren en programma’s maken voor verschillende doelgroepen. We bespreken verschillende strategieën om toegang te verkrijgen tot fondsen en samenwerkingsverbanden. Op welke deuren kun je aankloppen? Hoe vlieg je een nieuw project aan?

Today is all about audiences and critical diversity: who do you make your work for? And how to navigate the cultural field as a migrant? Do you find your seat at the existing table, or maybe build your own? EYE filmmuseum will give us a sneak peek behind the scenes of what an institution does and how they make cultural programs for different ‘target groups’. We will discuss difrent strategies of gaining access to funding and collaborations. Which doors to knock on? How can you initiate new projects?

انضم إلى برنامجنا الجديد لمدة 3 أسابيع، والذي يقدم مكملاً هامًا لدورات اللغة والثقافة الهولندية الخاصة بك 😸. في مساء يوم الثلاثاء من الاسابيع الثلاثة القادمة سنجتمع من الساعة 17.00 إلى الساعة 19.30 في مساحة جميلة من معهد جوته في أمستردام. سنستمع إلى وجهات نظر مختلفة من العمل في المجال الثقافي، وسنلقي نظرة خاطفة على كواليس المؤسسات الثقافية ونكسب بعض الأدوات المهمة لنتعلم كيف تصنع لنفسك مكانًا في هولندا. سنتدرب على المفردات الهولندية ونصنع معجمًا بديلاً للحقل الثقافي.

هذا اليوم يتعلق بالجماهير والتنوع النقدي: لمن تصنع عملك الفني؟ وكيف تتنقل في المجال الثقافي كمهاجر؟ هل تجد مكانك على الطاولة موجوداً، أو ربما تصنع مقعدك الخاص؟ سوف يعطينا متحف أيي فيلم نظرة خاطفة وراء الكواليس لما تفعله المؤسسة وكيف تصنع برامج ثقافية "للمجموعات المستهدفة" المختلفة. سنناقش استراتيجيات مختلفة للوصول إلى التمويل والتعاون. على أي أبواب تطرق؟ كيف يمكنك بدء مشاريع جديدة؟
