Yara Said

Yara Said is a Multi-disciplinary artist born in Syria and now based in the Netherlands. The Salwa Foundation was initiated by Said. She received her education at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the University of Damascus, where she graduated in 2014. As a result of personal experience, she is aiming to connect art with social development. By immersing herself in disciplines such as politics, psychology, and sociology, she endeavors to pinpoint the position of artists in society and the perception of that same society on artists. With this goal in mind, the Salwa Foundation was established. Yara has recently graduated with an exhibit at Het Hem in Zaandam from the Sandberg Institute after she did a two-year Master of Arts program.

يارا سعيد فنانة متعددة التخصصات ولدت في سوريا ومقيمة الآن في هولندا. أسست مؤسسة سلوى عن طريق سعيد. تلقت تعليمها في كلية الفنون الجميلة في جامعة دمشق ، حيث تخرجت عام 2014. ونتيجة لخبرتها الشخصية، تهدف إلى ربط الفن بالتنمية الاجتماعية. من خلال الانغماس في تخصصات مثل السياسة وعلم النفس وعلم الاجتماع، تسعى لإثبات بصمة الفنانين في المجتمع والعكس صحيح بأن يعترف الفنان بمجتمعه. مع وضع هذا الهدف في الاعتبار، تم إنشاء مؤسسة سلوى. تخرجت يارا مؤخرًا بمعرض في هت هيم في زاندام من معهد ساندبرغ بعد أن درست برنامج ماجستير في الآداب لمدة عامين.
